Jim has been fantastic to work with, I initially made contact with him to look at a listing in Spring of 2017 and then had to put off the search for a house for over a year. Jim helped us purchase our first home. Throughout the process, which lasted about three months, Jim was always available and ready with answers. Even when we had to coordinate with him remotely from a different timezone. He laid out facts for our interpretation and offered astute opinions when asked. He provided useful recommendations on home inspections, mortgage providers and insurance providers. His negotiation points were very useful but could be a bit more aggressive. We are very happy that Jim was by our side throughout our home purchase and will definitely go back to him the next time we are looking to purchase a home!

I wish I could rate Jim more than 5 stars because he exceeded my expectations with absolutely everything. He was energetic, prompt, and savy with the negotiating. He valued my opinion and was never pushy. And he knew absolutely everything about real estate! I must have asked Jim hundreds of questions throughout my home buying process and I never stumped him. Not once! I had the utmost confidence in Jim every step of the way. If you're not persuaded by my review then you must set up a meeting with him! Words can only do so much to describe Jim's prowess in real estate.

Greater Seattle area is a tough market. When you come from out of town, you discover that the complexity goes beyond the geography. After having worked with Jim and his team, not only was I able to get my dream home at a good price, but I also became an educated home buyer. He taught me everything I needed to know to purchase a house within my budget. I also have to add, he's very good with kids, which is a huge plus for a parent on a house hunt with young children. He is very responsive and truly has your best interest in mind, going above and beyond your expectations to get your dream house. Jim is part of an amazing team that works in tandem, so if he ever becomes unavailable he has a partner who is equally amazing as he is (Heather Rieck). In this crazy fast moving market, the way they work together is absolutely one of the most critical elements in getting a desirable home. They make all the transactions stress-free and pleasant. If we were to sell our house or buy another house we'd definitely be working with Jim and Heather again!

I would give Jim six stars if I could. My fiancé and I started working with Jim in the fall of 2020 looking for our second house, and his professionalism was evident from our very first meeting. Jim was so knowledgeable and so enthusiastic (oh yeah!) about finding us the right house, and he was incredibly responsive at every stage of the process. He must have seen nearly every house in West Seattle with us as we narrowed down our search for “the one,” and you could point at anything (seriously anything) in a house, and he would know what it was. When it came time to make an offer, Jim had all the answers about strategy, contracts, waivers, etc. to give us confidence in our decisions. Honestly, we're going to miss spending our weekends touring houses with Jim; we had a lot of fun. We can't recommend Jim enough!
